APPLICATION PROCESS

Applications for junior faculty appointments are competitive and are being accepted for a start date of July 1, 2008.

Requirements: MD or doctoral degree for nurses with clinical training in an oncologic discipline. May be completing a residency and/or fellowship, depending on the discipline. Interest and training in clinical trials and/or laboratory based research. Intent to focus on translational research leading to a clinical trial. Willingness to participate in didactic training in clinical and translational research, to publish and author clinical trials. Minimum of a 2-year commitment required.

To apply, please submit the following set of documents:

  1. A recent Curriculum Vitae including previous research experience, both didactic and practical.
  2. A personal statement describing the reason for seeking research training, specific research interests, and career plans.
  3. At least 3 letters of recommendation, including one either from the residency training director or doctoral committee chairperson/advisor.
  4. Proof of U.S. citizenship (passport) or permanent residency (green card).
