Application Requirements
NOTE: This program is currently accepting applications for a start date of September 1, 2013.
Candidates need to have a PhD, MD, or MD/PhD degree, strong quantitative skills and an interest in a career in genetics research. Candidates must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
- A recent Curriculum Vitae including previous research experience, both didactic and practical.
- A personal statement describing the reason for seeking postdoctoral research training, specific research interests, and career plans.
- At least three letters of recommendation, including one either from the doctoral committee chair/advisor or past and current supervisors. The recommendation letters should address the applicant's interest and/or ability in four areas: computation, genome, cancer, and epidemiology, and the applicant's abilities of becoming an independent researcher in these areas. Signed letters of reference may be sent as PDF files.
- Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (green card).
