We invite researchers, scholars, educators, organizations, and trainees to join us as we convene to enhance our understanding and address cancer disparities in our community.

This call for abstracts is an opportunity to highlight both scientific and community programs on topics related to cancer disparities. This symposium will provide a forum to showcase the breadth and depth of this work.

For this call, cancer-related disparities refer to adverse differences in the presence of disease, risk factors, health outcomes, and/or access to quality health care in the United States - all with social injustice as a root cause. We welcome disparity-focused research and community programs based in all population groups stratified by race/ethnicity, age, sex or gender, sexual orientation, national origin, immigrant status, health status, disability, or language spoken.

The goal is to build community among multidisciplinary researchers, healthcare systems, government-based programs, foundation initiatives, grassroots organizations, not-for-profit organizations, and other stakeholders to focus on the fine work being conducted, resources for community members, and inspire collaborations and innovative future directions.
