With this designation, CWRU joins only six other nationally recognized GI Specialized Program of Research Excellence (SPORE) Center in the country. Researchers from CWRU, University Hospitals Seidman Cancer Center and Cleveland Clinic, all members of the cancer center, collaborate in the research effort.

GI SPORE Seminar Series

Mark your calendars for the GI SPORE Seminar Series. The series will meet monthly on the first Wednesday of the month, from 5:30-6:30 pm in Lerner Tower B-151. Presentations will alternate monthly between the faculty seminar series and journal club, where a SPORE pilot/career development awardee will present. All members of the Cancer Center community, including fellows and residents, are encouraged to attend.
