The NCI Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (OCCAM) is a coordinating office for cancer CAM-funded research throughout the Institute, at NCI-designated Cancer Centers, and academic centers throughout the country. Join the Office of Cancer Centers Learning Series for a webinar on NCI's Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM) funding opportunities on Tuesday, September 11 from 2-3:30 pm. In this webinar, staff from OCCAM will highlight the cancer CAM research and funding opportunities available from NCI. The webinar goal is to provide information to potential grantees on mechanisms available to support cancer CAM research, along with tips and guidance on how to apply for these grants. The featured speakers are: Dr. Jeffrey D. White, Director of the NCI Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (OCCAM) Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis; Dr. Dan Xi, Program Director for the NCI Office of Cancer Complementary and Alternative Medicine (OCCAM) Division of Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis; and Dr. Lorenzo Cohen, Professor and Director of the Integrative Medicine Program at the MD Anderson Cancer Center.
