The training program is funded by the NIH and it is a component of the Cleveland Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative. This innovative program is a collaboration involving CWRU, Cleveland Clinic, UH and MetroHealth. Each CR Scholar will embark on a 4-year program of intensive training in interdisciplinary team-based, patient-oriented research, combining a novel educational program with mentored research experiences. Imaging Solutions In Cancer Management: A Case-Based ConferenceRegistration is now open for Imaging Solutions In Cancer Management: A Case-Based Conference. Join us September 8 for this comprehensive oncologic imaging course, which focuses on cancer management using imaging as a diagnostic tool and as a guide for minimally invasive therapeutic applications. This course takes a practical approach using cases and features multiple specialists ranging from medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, radiologists and basic scientists. Internal Deadline: August 22 PhRMA FoundationPhRMA Foundation is now accepting applications for the following opportunities: Pharmacology/toxicology awards support career-development activities of scientists prepared to engage in research that integrates information on molecular or cellular mechanisms of action with information on the effects of an agent observed in an intact organism, either in experimental animal or clinical studies or both.
• Pre Doctoral Fellowship The goal of the Informatics Program is to promote the use and development of informatics in an integrative approach towards the understanding of human biological and disease processes. Informatics awards will support career development of scientists engaged in research that significantly integrates cutting-edge information technology with advanced biological, chemical, and pharmacological sciences.
• Pre Doctoral Fellowship Pharmaceutics is that area of biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences that deals with drug delivery systems, in particular the design and evaluation of contemporary pharmaceutical dosage forms so that they are safe, effective, and reliable. It is a multidisciplinary area, with significant underpinnings from such basic scientific disciplines as physical chemistry, physical organic chemistry, and biophysics.
• Pre Doctoral Fellowship Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society ScholarsThe Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Health & Society Scholars program provides two years of support to postdoctoral scholars at all stages of their careers to build the nation's capacity for research and leadership to address the multiple determinants of population health and contribute to policy change.
