Backinger FUNDING OPPORTUNITY– CSCRM Request for ProposalsThe Center for Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine (CSCRM) has issued an RFP for pilot projects for this coming year. The goal of this pilot funding is to to provide seed money for new research ideas with priority given to projects that bring new researchers into the stem cell arena or provide funding for a "new" research area (not additional support for an existing project). Projects must have a clinical and/or commercial direction though it may be more rudimentary than for a fully developed project. The "fourth" $50K slot will be divided among the CWRU/CCF/UH tech transfer offices (TTO) to apply to stem cell projects that the TTOs recommend would significantly be assisted (in the IP/commercialization effort) by a small increment of data. Deadline: November 23 The RFP will be posted on the CSCRM website this week.
