Johnie Rose, MD, PhD is a Board-certified Preventive Medicine physician and health services researcher specializing in the modeling of systems involving populations. He serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine Residency Program Director at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. His research and methodological work have involved modeling the population impact of vaccination programs in the developing world, developing methods for stakeholder participation in the development of agent-based models, and modeling recurrence and post-treatment surveillance in colorectal cancer. In addition, he frequently speaks around the university and the community on the topic of the U.S. health system, health policy, and health care reform.
