Program Overview

This conference is intended to raise awareness about Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Cancer. The symposium will highlight selected treatment modalities and clinical trials objectives for cancers common to AYA patients, including specific advances in targeted tumor-based therapy. As well as delve into the psychosocial complexities of the AYA oncology population in a supportive space. The symposium will have two tracks, one scientifically and clinically based, will focus primarily on physicians and practitioners, the other for patients and survivors, will focus on psychosocial issues faced by survivors and their caregivers. The conference will close with a keynote address from Clifton Leaf, a well-known cancer survivor, who will speak on his thoughts on the war on cancer.
